This is R.B. Before we let the first puppy go home, we picked him as the one to keep (if we were going to keep one) and turned down several requests for him from prospective buyers.
Well, we've decided to sell him after all!
He was one of only 3 males in a litter of nine and the only fawn male in the litter. He is super sweet, incredibly soft, and couldn't be any more adorable! He turned 13 weeks old yesterday - Memorial Day. He has been dewormed and has had his first and second sets of vaccinations. He is doing very well already with potty training.
Bernadanes, Great Bernards and Saint Danes are names given to a wonderful, fairly new "designer breed" that consists of a cross between a Great Dane and a Saint Bernard. They have been called gentle giants because they inherit the calm and loving personalities of both of the parent breeds.
Our litter of nine beautiful Saint Dane puppies, six girls and three boys, were born to our AKC registered mantle (mostly black with some white on his chest) Great Dane, Odin (the sire) out of our AKC registered Saint Bernard, Leia (the dam) on Monday, February 27, 2012.
If you're a fan of BIG dogs, you've just found your next best friend!
In an attempt to help thwart pet overpopulation by absent-minded people (such as myself), I make the following addendum to each adopter:
If you have your puppy neutered and bring him back to see us while still sporting the stitches, along with proof of the surgery (veterinarian documentation) within six months, I will refund $25 of that adoption fee.
If you have any questions at all, please email us via the link provided or give us a call at (251) 645-9O9O. I WILL IGNORE all emails that do not include a contact phone number. (I despise spammers!)
If you or anyone you know might be, interested in adopting R.B. or if y'all just wan't to see some more great pictures, please go to /SouthAlabamaBernadanes or just google "South Alabama Bernadanes" and y'all will find your way there.
